Sims require direction, via mouse inputs, in order to have their needs met and live their lives efficiently. In the game, players control the day-to-day lives of virtual people called " Sims". The Sims (retroactively referred to as The Sims 1 or TS1 to differentiate it from the series as a whole) is a single-player interactive life simulation game, developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts.

Doesn’t even have all the buy and build mode themes. And while Neighborhood 2 is my favorite of the neighborhood tracks (because its an unabashed reuse of the Charlie Brown Christmas “skating” rhythm by Vince Guaraldi), the “official” soundtrack only has that as the neighborhood theme. Exactly! I found the “official soundtrack” on iTunes and Spotify but refused to buy it on the former because it was so limited.
